Little Gap Estates is a private residential community in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, in the village of Little Gap — a small unincorporated community along the Aquashicola Creek in the southeastern corner of Carbon County. The setting combines the southern edge of the Pocono Mountains with the northern reach of the Lehigh Valley, giving it a character that is distinctly different from the lake-heavy communities of the central Poconos.

The community's location advantages are substantial. Blue Mountain Resort — originally founded as Little Gap Ski Area in 1977 before being relaunched as Blue Mountain in 1989 — sits just to the south of the village and is one of the largest ski areas in Pennsylvania with 40 trails, 12 lifts, 1,082 vertical feet, and 100% snowmaking. The Appalachian Trail follows the ridge line of Blue Mountain directly above the community, giving residents access to one of the most iconic long-distance hiking routes in the country. Beltzville State Park and Lake, in the adjacent Towamensing Township, provides a large public lake with motorboating, kayaking, a beach, swimming, hiking, fishing, and cross-country skiing. The historic Little Gap Covered Bridge, which crosses the Aquashicola Creek in the village, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Historic Jim Thorpe is a short drive away.
