STR is permitted in Brier Crest Woods with registration through both Tunkhannock Township and the BCW office. All rental properties must first be registered and approved by Tunkhannock Township before renting. Once township approval is in place, owners complete the BCW online registration form at least 24 hours before guests arrive. A registration fee applies per rental. Minimum stay is 2 nights and a maximum of 14 consecutive days applies. Single night rentals are not permitted. Rentals over 30 consecutive days are classified as long-term. STR properties are limited to a maximum of 6 bedrooms and 16 occupants, subject to septic capacity. All guests must abide by BCW Rules and Regulations.
